Michael Wu serves as Director – AI and Asia Region for Accrete where he leads the implementation team from Taiwan and Singapore to support our global customers to focus on business strategy, data-driven process transformation, and AI-driven technology transformation.

Michael has over 25 years of innovation experience in setting up teams in the US, Europe and Asia applying Machine Learning (ML) and various AI technologies to solve business challenges, such as customer profiling for Retail, cost estimation and pricing adjustments for Chemical, collaborative planning and profitability projection for CPG, high-valued contract valuation for Industrial Component / Automotive, incentive planning for Automotive / Insurance, and large-language-model (LLM) for Legal Service / Insurance.

Michael has served as Chief Data Scientist, AI / ML Advisory Board, and Managing Director for various global companies.  Before leading our AI and Accrete Asia operations, he worked in Palo Alto, US and Walldorf, Germany as a development architect for SAP Labs and SAP AG with over twenty patents using AI / ML for next-generation enterprise systems.  He holds a PhD in Industrial Engineering – Decision Science, and a Post-doc in Neurosciences from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
