John Gori is a highly experienced Supply Chain and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) professional with a career in Operations Management and I.T. Project Management.  He has a passion for understanding processes and the environment they operate in, and then seeking ways to improve performance. In his current role at Accrete John works in an advisory capacity across many of our mid-market customers.

John began his career in line management, leading teams of U.S. Navy maintenance technicians in a wide variety of trades (welding and metalwork to mechanical and electronic).  He began his civilian career as a plant manager and distribution fleet manager for an industrial, medical, and speciality chemical supplier.  He was selected to serve on that company’s process re-engineering team, and then became the Operations Representative for implementing the changed processes including new I.T. systems.  He introduced new processes, SAP software, Bar Coding, and other technologies to the company in a major transformation initiative.

After transitioning to consulting he has spent the last 26 years alternating between ERP / Supply Chain improvement consulting, and Operations Management roles.  He has led business turnarounds, facility capacity expansions, and facility startups.  He has experience in Semiconductor, Electronics, Pharmaceutical and Nutraceutical, Property Management, Professional Services, Utilities, Chemical, Retail, Manufacturing and Distribution.

John’s education includes both a Bachelor of Science from the U.S. Naval Academy and a Masters of Business Administration from National University with an emphasis in Computer Management.  He has completed additional work at the University of California, San Diego in Total Quality and World Class Manufacturing, and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP). He was previously certified as a state-licensed Pharmaceutical Exemptee, Hazardous Materials Responder, Radio Operator, and a variety of USDoT certifications.
