After nearly a decade of not having a PC worthy of the power needed to do justice in my preferred 3d art program(s) i’m finally able to play again! With the latest generation chip sets from both Intel and Nvidia my time in Vue and DAZ Studio are filled with inspiration and enjoyment. Living on the WET! Coast of Oregon one can either cry about all the wet stuff outside, figure out a way to play in it, or find an enjoyable inside hobby.
The first time i played with Vue back in ~2004~ i so enjoyed creating worlds of wonder and curiosity. I spent hours and even days designing a single idea and then finally rendering. This time around i’m spending the majority of time in DAZ Studio (i was using Poser back then) for Character development and then, if needed, exporting to Vue and completing a given scene. I’m finding DS is able to do well on it’s own in most of my current scenes. I’m not sure how i will develop this part of the blog as far as organizing and/or sharing some of the renders. For this post i’ll include one of my current favorites.
